The Ottawa WHITE-FACED IBIS continues, as of 2:30 PM, today. Take a left when you enter the refuge (towards the new visitors center), and the bird is occupying a small marshy spot on your left before you reach the larger pond in front of the center. Two Blue-winged Teal were in the same small pond.
This bird truly is beaut, and provides a rare opportunity for Ohioans to see it in this manner. I took all my photos without leaving the car, and the less we disturb this bird, the better; perhaps it will stick around awhile longer.
