I had heard rumors that there was a Cerulean Warbler nest in Hinckley. Does anyone know that exact location of that nest? (It is a pretty big park!)

I tried to find it on my own on Tuesday, with no luck. I thought that I had heard one, but my mind might have been decieving me. I did see a garbage-can-friendly raccoon out in the day, so be careful if you are going that way.

By the way, does anyone know what might have killed all of my Carolina Wrens this winter? I found them all dead around January... I miss their nests this year! I hope there isn't some Wren virus going around or something! ;)

Birding has been slow in Medina so I went up to Magee (the Prothonotary nest is awesome) and East Harbor in Marblehead (neat close-ups of cygnets and Black Crowned Nightherons).

Now I am just hoping for that Cerulean to round out my week.

Thanks,

Sarah Winnicki
