Hi all,

We stumbled upon a great little birding area across the street from Hess &
Associates Engineering on Kinsman Road in Newbury. Across the street from
Hess, there is a soccer field and in the woods behind the soccer field it
was loaded with all sorts of activity. We heard some Red Eyed Vireos and
Baltimore Orioles singing but never got a good sight on them, saw some
Yellow Warblers and Cedar Waxwings too, but what kept drawing my attention
was that familiar "buzzzzz" song coming from the shrubs. I finally got a
good look on him and it was a Blue Winged Warbler much to our surprise.
We called him out and then several other males followed dancing around for
quite a while. Never thought a soccer field would be loaded with that
kind of activity, much less several Blue Winged Warblers!
