Hi folks, 

BEAUTIFUL morning for a bird walk in the Glen today.   Bright skies, mild
temperatures.  

We covered about two miles in the North Glen, finding 36 species.  Here is
the list:

Turkey vulture
Mourning dove
Yellow-billed cuckoo
Ruby-throated hummingbird
Red-bellied woodpecker
Downy woodpecker (exhibiting mated pair behavior)
Hairy woodpecker
Pileated woodpecker
Eastern wood pewee (on a nest)
Acadian flycatcher
Eastern phoebe
Great-crested flycatcher
Yellow-throated vireo
Red-eyed vireo
Blue jay
American crow
Carolina chickadee
Tufted titmouse
White-breasted nuthatch
Carolina wren
House wren (in nest)
Blue-gray gnatcatcher
Wood thrush
American robin
Gray catbird
Cedar waxwing
Louisiana waterthrush (two on territory)
Eastern towhee
Chipping sparrow
Field sparrow
Northern cardinal
Indigo bunting
Red-winged blackbird
Common grackle
Brown-headed cowbird
American goldfinch
