Ahh, the attachment did work last time, so here are the details. Field trips start on Thursday and continue thru Sunday.

Findley State Park block busting
Bird watching weekend
40 miles southwest of Cleveland
June 11, 12, 13, 14, 2009

This weekend of birding will contribute sightings to the Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas II. We will focus on areas called priority blocks. A block is 10 square miles, only one in six blocks is considered a priority block. By visiting a variety of habitats we’ll document the distribution and abundance of breeding birds. This statewide program through Ohio State University is in the 4th year of a 5 year study. The Findley State Park area has had minimal coverage, and has many interesting birding hotspots. Join us for one or all of the field trips, beginning birders are encouraged to join us, the more eyes the better. Bring binoculars and be prepared for bugs and occasional off trail conditions. To see maps of the target areas go to www.ohiobirds.org/obba2/ click on “enter atlas data” then enter any one of the priority block numbers: 39D7CW, 39C7CE, 40C1NW, 40D1CE.
