My sister, who lives in Shalersville, described some interesting male cowbird behavior observed at
her home. From dawn to dusk, a male cowbird visits her kitchen window (which has a platform
feeder nearby). The cowbird continuously displays in her window. Even a female cowbird cannot
distract him from himself. He shows no aggressive behavior as if to off chase the "rival". My sister
and family have named this bird Floyd, as in "Pretty Boy Floyd". Has anyone witnessed something like
this?
