Emil Bacik was there when I arrived at 10:10:  "Did you see the Marbled Godwit?  It flew as you were driving in."  Fortunately for the year list, it came back, but only stayed 10 minutes before departing eastward, not to return by 1:15.  Jerry T. and Craig Holt showed up around 11, and the four of us studied about 10 Sanderlings in all stages of molt, several Least and one Semipalmated Sandpiper, a single Short-billed Dowitcher, some Greater Yellowlegs, and a couple of Semipalmated Plovers.  Also a Green Heron and Least Bittern at the edge of the phragmites (thanks, Jerry).
