Hey everybody the Willet was still along Praire Lane this afternoon! I was
there from 3:30 till 4pm. To see the bird I had to jump the guardrail and
walk beside that busy road for a 100 yards or so. There is a large dead snag
standing out in the mud and several lying in the mud this is where the
Willet was hanging around. It is note worthy that the local farmer does not
fence his cows out of the marshy area. Many of my photos include the Willet
and several cows.
Also oberserved were;
20 or so  Killdeer
1 Lesser Yellowlegs
many Least Sandpipers
A couple Semipalmated Sandpipers
1 Green Heron
1 Great Egret
1 Belted KingFisher
lots of starlings and swallows
      See you in the field
