For bird enthusiasts interested in an adventure to Amish Country, The Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center will have an exhibit of bird and mammal mounts, along with other nature related displays, at The Family Farm Field Day, next saturday, July 18th, from 8:30AM to 4:00PM. There will also be agricultural related displays, demonstrations, and vendor shows. Robert Hershberger of "Time And Optics" will have a selection of his birding related items and also be available to answer questions about your optic needs and proper choices. There is no reservation or entrance fee for the days activities. The event is at the farm of David and Emily Hershberger, 5119 TR613. To reach this northeastern Holmes County location, go north out of Mount Hope on SR241 and continue on CR77 as SR241 bears to the right. It is abount one mile from this intersection to TR613. Turn left/west and go about a mile to the farm which will be on the right. Follow the signs. This is a perfect opportunity to explore this wonderful area and be able to visit with the Amish community. Before your visit call "The Bobolink Area Hotline" at 330-763-5119. Hope to see you there!!!

Bob and Denise Lane
