For birders living in NW Columbus, three days ago a three foot tall green wing Macaw escaped from his home near Bethel Road and a half mile west of Godown Road. If you live in that area and see or hear from others about his location, please contact me privately at [log in to unmask] I know how to contact the owner who is anxious to find him. I located the bird in my office parking lot in that vicinity the day after he escaped but was unable to catch him. He is quite tame and friendly so if you happen to find him, try to get him inside before contacting me.

Thanks,
Doug Fisher
