Hello Everyone,

Thanks to people who read this list, "Manny" the green-winged macaw was found a couple of hours ago at a construction site on the Ohio State Campus. I don't know exact details but I know that many people were involved in his rescue including vets and volunteers who help rescue birds. Construction workers and police watched the exhausted bird until his owner arrived. Once there, he reached out, called his name, and the bird slowly climbed his arm and perched on his shoulder. I just spoke with the owner who told me that Manny ate and drank a lot once he got home and is now sound asleep on his arm as I write this. There are several things that can be done to help prevent another escape and to protect him from theft and I hope to convince the owner to do some of them.

Thanks to all of you who helped to make this four-day adventure end happily.
