?With much trepidation and doubt I struck off this morning to the reported place (thanks Renee!) in Guernsey co. near the small burg of Derwent. I arrived later than I should have but it wasn't a problem, at about 9:30 am in my bins I saw the bird standing on a small log near the middle front of the wetland north of the railroad tracks. The bird is mostly grayish brown with a white belly and rump with an orange gray bill and white spot on its crown, it kind of blends in. Got digiscope videos and pics while I enjoyed watching the bird preen and feed. It didn't seem to mind me, I was about 40 yards away from it at some points, but I kept quiet and moved slowly so as not to spook it. I stayed until about 11:00 am. When I left the bird it was feeding in the open mudflat near the middle front of the wetland. Other birds seen were a few Least 'pipers, Green Heron, pair of B. Kingfishers, Scarlet Tanager, White-eyed Vireo, GB Heron, Wood Duck, Great Egret, Swamp Sparrow, Hairy Woodp
 ecker, etc.
Here is directions:?"Old" DeLorme page 71; "new" page 65. I-77 exit #37

West on 313 a short distance then
South on 821 (there is a market at the corner). Go south across RR tracks.
Immediately on the left (east) is a dirt road public parking area (park along the road, don't drive

too far down the dirt road).
Park and walk west on the RR tracks. The marsh is easily viewed.

Here is a link to some of my fav. digiscopes this morn. Its on Facebook.
