Greetings,

With the thought of a rare bird to knock off my list, I really wrestled with making the trip. But I decided to just stay home. I went over to Kenton for a Saturday, had to get it done, glaucoma test.
The last clear picture in my mind was the yellow head of a Bobolink....and I didn't have my camera...Darn it! Oh well, I'll get it one day. It was on Widcat Pike near Hepburn.

After I recovered from the test, I went out to Big Island WA and got some shorebird activity in. I saw for the first time there this year:

6 Greater Yellowlegs
4 Long Billed Dowitcher
6 Solatary Sandpiper
2 Juvi Spotted Sandpiper

Happy Birding and God Bless

Psalm 103:4-6

4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,

5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

 6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
