Ohio birders:

This has been the most pleasant summer weather in recent memory; I hope
everyone has been able to get out and about to enjoy it.  The great
weather continues, but we've slipped into fall and its time to submit
summer 2009 records.

31 July marked the end of spring in terms of the way we keep track of
bird records; summer is considered to run from June 1st to July 31st.

Please consider submitting your observations of Ohio birds from the
summer season to The Ohio Cardinal.  The bulk of the issues are made up
of field observations from birders, and we are eager to find out about
and report on what you've been seeing.

Please submit your reports, by e-mail or by postal mail, to the
