I walk through the cemetery at least two times a week during my lunch
hour, and today,
for the first time this summer/fall, the warblers have finally arrived!

In a very brief time, I saw a Cooper's Hawk (perched up close, putting
on quite a show,
ruffling its feathers), a black and white warbler, a pine warbler, and
a chestnut-sided
warbler, all so close I could have reached out and touched them, also
a female black
throated blue warbler, and a few yellowish warblers I was unable to
identify. I'll be back
every day this week, to be sure!
