Tuesday, August 18 - 10:15 - 11:15 a.m.

Shorebirds were concentrated at the south end of the lake and  best viewed
from the "disc golf overlook".  Water is too shallow for  the phalarope to
do its swimming in circles thing; but, interestingly, it was  snatching
insects in mid-air and also off the nearby barren fallen branches  while standing
belly-deep in the water.  North end of lake completely dry  with lots of
killdeer.  There also appears to be a "new" eagle with none of  the white tail
or head feathers that the other two eagles have shown.
