Hello all---Just a few quick notes about the juv. stint from Conneaut yesterday--within a few minutes of finding the bird and studying it at usually point-blank range, I had ruled out the 3 North American peeps. So I was trying to figure out which of the 3 likely stint prospects it was. I have access to some mind-bending photos thanks to nature photographer Bill Norton from Michigan. I heard the stint call several times, it's feeding behavior was very distinctive, and it was much brighter above than the photos I've seen so far on the internet, so I still think it was not a red-necked stint but a little stint. However, I certainly could be wrong about that, since like almost all of us I have never seen a stint in person before. I'll post the rest of the day's birds later........Craig Holt
