I arrived at Conneaut early this morning and left after 1:00 this afternoon
 
several heavy bands of rain passed over the spit and a water spout was seen on the lake
 
I had 15 species of shorebirds
 
3 Avocet
1 Willet
6 Short-billed Dowitcher
1 Ruddy Turnstone
1 Greater Yellowlegs
4 Lesser Yellowlegs
4 Sanderling
1 Black-bellied Plover
11 Semi-palmated Plover
7 Killdeer
1 Pectoral Sandpiper
2 Stilt Sandpiper
16 Semi-palmated Sandpiper
2 Least Sandpiper
2 Spotted Sandpiper 
 
other birds
 
2 Least Bittern(had good looks at one bird that was perched out in the open and later saw two birds fly)
1 Sora(seen)
9 Caspian Tern
3 Common Tern
2 Bonaparte`s Gull
1 A. Wigeon
1 Hooded Merganser
1 Great Egret
1 Kestrel
