Hello Ohio Birders,
I'm preparing a blurb about the impact of communication on sightings of rare birds (for BioOhio, the newsletter of the Ohio Biological Survey). I would like to know if you saw the following Ohio Northern Wheatears:
a) Bunker Hill, September 2009 (last week)
b) Big Island, November 1998
c) Turtle Creek, January 1988
Also, (d) Did you see the Red-cockaded Woodpecker at Old Man's Cave (Hocking Co.) April-May 1975?
And, finally, (e) did you see a Swainson's Warbler in Clear Creek Valley (Hocking Co.) May 1974?
"Yes" or "No" to each is all I wish. If you do not respond, I'll take that as a "no response." (I too get inundated with e-mail surveys.)
Your reward will be a copy of my blurb.
Thank you and good birding to all.
Dave Horn
