Like Ethan K., I happened to go out early (to drop my son off for an early lab) and was startled by the numbers of vocalizing night migrants. Here in Gahanna (Columbus suburb) there were mostly Swainson's Thrushes, with a few other thrushes, warblers, and sparrows. The calls were almost continuous (1/sec). It appears that the wave that started to hit northern Ohio yesterday has arrived here in central Ohio. This would be a good day to get out for an hour or two to any nearby park or natural area. Gotta go now.

Rob
