Hello all,

This cold front has pushed a new wave of migrants into northwest Ohio,
bringing quite a few goodies our way in the Findlay area.

Today (Sep 17), Ryan Trimbath and I banded a CONNECTICUT WARBLER along with
a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, a Mourning Warbler, FOS White-throated Sparrow, and
the more regular fare. We saw one or two other kinglets in the area in with
warbler flocks. Rich Aracil and David Vander Pluym each had a FOS Lincoln's
Sparrow.

Yesterday we had our FOS Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Yellow-rumped Warbler, and
Palm Warbler. A Yellow-billed Cuckoo was also banded. Another cuckoo was
seen by David Vander Pluym and myself at Van Buren SP on the 15th.

At Findlay Reservoir on the 14th, David Vander Pluym, Rich Aracil and myself
had 3 American Pipits. On the same day, a Red-breasted Nuthatch was south
of Findlay.

On the 13th, we had a big push of Cape May Warblers, with a flock of 15
south of Findlay. David and Rich also had two Northern Parulas.

On the 11th, we banded seven Yellow-bellied Flycatchers and two Mourning
Warblers.

Cheers,
Lauren Harter
Findlay
