Driving through Brecksville earlier today, I spotted a very nice swirling
kettle of 40+ Turkey Vultures coming up over the Cuyahoga River valley. Had
seen individuals and a few small groups traveling through Headlands earlier
this week, but this is the most I've viewed together so far this migration
season.
btw - Tomorrow, Sept. 5th, is International Vulture Awareness Day!

Good to see US and worldwide organizations banding together to promote
conservation of this vital group -- which of course includes our beloved
Ohio Hinckley buzzards...
Cheers,
Rita Schneider
