Friday, Sept. 4 - 10:15 a.m. - noon

Pond still drying up.  Numbers of shorebirds down but still a good
selection.

Lesser yellowlegs - 5
Pectoral sp - 12
Solitary sp - 7
Least sp - 5
Semipalmated sp - 10
Spotted sp - 3
Killdeer - lots
Great egrets - 10
Great blue herons - 75+
Belted kingfisher
Wood ducks - 20
Blue-winged teal - 8
Cedar waxwings - 40
Common nighthawks - 20
Broad-winged hawk
Red-tailed hawk
Coopers hawk
Turkey vultures - 2
Barn swallows - 15
Chimney swifts - 30
Canada geese
Mallards
Bald eagle - nearly fully mature (seen Wednesday but not  reported)
