Other notable Great Plains birds at Hoover that appeared to have just
blown in included 60 Gadwall, 1 Northern Pintail, and 8 Northern
Shovelers out in the middle of the reservoir.  Obviously, it's a great
day to be checking your local patch for unusual species blown in by
this system.  Franklin's Gulls, in particular, seem susceptible to
winds like this and could occur today or tomorrow anywhere gulls
gather in Ohio.
