For weeks killdeer have been screaming at all hours of the day and night at my apartment building in Broadview Heights. They seem to be congregating on the flat roof (I saw about 5 fly up there). Can anyone give me a clue about this behavior and tell me if they usually scream at night? You can reply privately if this seems silly.

Between the geese and the killdeer, it's pretty noisy here.

Thank you.

Kathleen Bradley
