Hello

Hope I don't get in trouble for this report!

We are salmon fishing on Lake Michigan for the weekend. Saturday morning, we were enjoying the sunshine and LULL in the fishing action when a small bird arrived!

I was able to get some photos of our hitch hiker and we still cannot positively ID it. Will have to seek an opinion from Julie and/or Kenn.

And the same day, about a 1/2 hr later, a female redstart hitched a ride! Both little birds hopped around the downriggers for about 20-30 minutes each.

These hitch hikers were obviously the highlight of the day!! Fishing was NOT that great!

Migration has begun!!
