Lauren Harter, Rich Aracil, and myself having the day off decided to go to Magee Marsh and Pickerel Creek Wildlife area and we were very glad we did.? We were joined by Ryan Trimbath at Pickerel Creek.? We had a great day out and in the almost 4 hours spent wandering the boardwalk we had 17 species of warbler including a N Parula and 2 Canada Warblers, we also had a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher.? At Pickerel Creek we had a MARBLED GODWIT, Red Knot Red-necked Phalarope, and 2 Wilson's Phalaropes among the 16 species of shorebirds present.? We also had a distant young Little Blue Heron.? Our ebird list for each place is below.? Good birding all!
