I spent a couple hours at Mosquito L. this afternoon, mostly at the NW end but also at the causeway.  There were many birds, but even with a scope and backlighting the distance made viewing quite difficult.  I did come up with wood ducks, Am. wigeon, blue-winged teal, 25 n. shovelers, 35 green-winged teal, hooded mergansers, double-crested cormorants, 33 great egrets, greater yellowlegs, 20 lesser yellowlegs, Bonaparte's gull,  and belted kingfisher.  Later, Craig
