A few more shorebirds have arrived at the N end of the Deer Creek Reservoir (Fayette County), but basically the same species as a few days ago. Shorebirds present today included :
~100 Killdeers
2 Gr Yellowlegs
1 L Yellowlegs
5 Least Sandpipers
3 Pectoral Sandpipers
29 Dunlins
Sparrow species seen today included E. Towhee, Chipping, Field, Savannah, Vesper, Song, Swamp, Fox, White-cr, White-thr., D-e Junco.
The reservoir held no waterfowl to speak of. Gull numbers have been pretty much the same for about a month with ~50 Ring-billed Gulls and 6 Herring Gulls, although a few weeks ago 5 Bonapartes were present. Things should be picking up there soon.
