Notable birds yesterday (10/17) at Armitage Pond in the Cuyahoga Valley NP yesterday were a sizeable flock of 13 Dark-eyed Junco feeding along a graveled right-away for an oil well, and the first American Tree Sparrow of the season for me. Yellow-rumped Warblers seemed to be absolutely everywhere and there were a few Palm Warblers thrown into the constantly moving mix. There were also 14 male Wood Duck on the pond.
