Cleveland Lakefront State Park / Villa Angela Area

Observers: Bob Finkelstein, Jim Heflich, Patty Kellner, Paula Lozano, Lukas Padegimas & his Grandmother Svetlana

We only birded the west side of the area from the library to the lakefront. When we left, there were still a lot of birds, with "good" numbers of chimney swifts, yellow-rumped warbers and white-throated sparrows. 

Bald eagle - 1, flying S to N
Red-shouldered hawk - 1
Chimney swift - XXX
Woodpeckers:Red-bellied, yellow-bellied spasucker, downy and northern flicker
Eastern phoebe - 1
Black-capped chickadee, tufted titmouse & white-breasted nuthatch
Brown creeper - X
Winter wren - X
Golden-crowned kinglets - XX
Ruby-crowned kinglet - XX
Hermit thrush - X
Tennessee warbler - 1
Nashville warbler - 4
Yellow-rumped warbler - XXX
Eastern towhee - 1, heard only
Fox sparrow - 2
Song sparrow - X
White-throated sparrow - XXX
White-crowned sparrow - XX
Dark-eyed junco - XX
