On 10/23 Lauren Harter, Rich Aracil, and myself had a CACKLING GOOSE fly over in a large flock of Canada Geese in Findlay (Hancock Co) on highway 224 near the mall. There are some ponds south of here, but the birds were flying north, not sure where too. We also checked out Findlay Res and despite the flighty gulls Lauren managed to pick out a single adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL.

On 10/22 at Lake Mosier outside of Fostoria (Hancock Co) Lauren Harter and I had 3 Am Golden Plovers, 2 Black-bellied Plovers, 3 Dunlin, and a C Merganser. Good birding
