Hi all,

Mary brought up a great point and Jen Brumfield and I
were talking about his earlier today. Keep those hummingbird feeders up! It’s
the season for vagrant hummers, particularly Rufous, but keep an eye out for
Calliope, Green Violetear or even a Green-breasted Mango! With these winds,
anything is possible.

I have not seen one for about a week but am keeping my feeder up as
there are still some reports of hummers being seen in southern Michigan.
(I think a violet eared was reported in southern IN? IL?  but am not
positive about
the date or location)

Mary, Dayton area
