For anyone interested, here's a link to a pdf of the four letter alpha
codes. It's also available via the BSBO website at _www.bsbobird.org_
(http://www.bsbobird.org/) and clicking on the Birder's Resources link.
_http://www.bsbo.org/pdf/ohio_bird_alpha_codes.pdf_
(http://www.bsbo.org/pdf/ohio_bird_alpha_codes.pdf)

Alpha codes are really helpful when taking field notes, but, I never use
them when posting in public forums to avoid confusion. Well, not unless it's
to confuse people on Ben Warner's Facebook page, and then I only do it
occasionally! : )

Thanks,
~ KIKA
