This morning I searched the Ashtabula Co. lakefront from 7:30 AM until noon. I visited Walnut Beach and Lake Shore Park in Ashtabula, Sunset Park in North Kingsville, and the township park and harbor in Conneaut. The morning's tally was: 20 Am. black ducks, lesser scaup, female BLACK SCOTER, 26 c. goldeneyes, 7 buffleheads, 6 hooded mergansers, 770 red-breasted mergansers, 12 common loons, double-crested cormorant, great blue heron, 1250 Bonaparte's gulls, and great black-backed gull. On the way home I stopped at Pymatuning Res., there were 400 Bonaparte's gulls there. A flock of 30 horned larks was along Pymatuning Lake Rd. Later, Craig
