With Emil Bacik:

Huron Pier: Lesser Black-backed Gull (1 ad), Marsh Wren (1), Snow Bunting (20)

Huron River Flats: Killdeer (50) were the only shorebird sp.

Cedar Point Causeway: Tundra Swan (294), American Coot (2000), L. Yellowlegs (1), Dunlin (131), L-b Dowitcher (1), Bonaparte's Gull (400)

Sherrod Park: Bufflehead (68), Common Goldeneye (12)

Lakeview Park (Lorain): Lesser Black-backed Gull (1 ad)

Lorain Harbor/Impoundment: The entire area within the dikes has been completely bulldozed, removing all vegetation and trees; not sure what the plan is but there is still earth-moving equipment on site. Kind of a shame, unless it leads to dredging, which may bring us Clevelanders a bit of shorebird habitat!

Wellington Reservoir: Canvasback (2), Redhead (10), Ring-necked Duck (250), Ruddy Duck (1200), etc. etc.

Oberlin Reservoir: Tundra Swan (6), Ruddy Duck (250), only a handful of gulls

Good birding -
Gabe Leidy
