Hello all,
I visited the Bresler Reservoir this morning and saw the RED-THROATED LOON from the same spot that Rick saw it. It was very distinctive with the thin(er) bill and extensive white on the throat and face. I did not see the scoters or eared grebe, but I saw 4 Horned Grebes.
Good Birding!

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Red-throated Loon, Eared Grebes, Surf and Black Scoter, Bresler Res (Allen County)
There was a winter adult Red-throated Loon at Bresler today. Two Eared Grebes and a female Surf Scoter were present again, and feeding in the same area as (often along side of) the Surf Scoter was a Black Scoter which appeared to be a female. The scoters and loon were viewed from the boat ramp (east side) looking west and a bit north. The Eared Grebes were viewed from the parking area on south side.
