Hi,

As I finished walking my dog at the south end of Memorial field, A
hawk flew in. I rushed to my car and grabbed my binocs, and the hawk
was kind enough to wait for all my hoo haw! After several minutes
viewing, and consulting my Sibley's, the hawk is a rough legged hawk!
The first one I've ever seen!

The RLH then flew right over my head and across the field to
another tree, where I could then sit in my car and keep viewing it.
After several more minutes, it flew to the north east, then started
following the river. Perhaps, it was migrating?

    Blessings... luv, Jessie
