Dr. Andy Jones will highlight some of the most exciting research results
in ornithology in 2009, with a focus on those with relevance to birding.
Dr. Jones, the William A. and Nancy R. Klamm Endowed Chair of Ornithology at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, is always an entertaining and fascinating speaker. Have you wondered how your life list can gain (or lose) a bird without your participation? Do you have some burning question about birds that you’ve wanted to ask an expert? Join us at the Kirtland Bird Club’s monthly meeting to pitch your question to Dr. Jones! All KBC monthly meetings take place at 7:30 pm at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History (1 Wade Oval Dr, Cleveland) in the downstairs classroom. Admission is free; parking is free for KBC members (you can join at the meeting or online at the KBC Web site) so bring your parking ticket in to be stamped.

For more information on upcoming field trips, meetings, membership, or resources (including the authoritative book “Birds of the Cleveland Region”) please see http://www.kirtlandbirdclub.org/default1.htm
