There were few birds visible at Cowan Lake today. about 40 Ring-billed Gulls, 2 Herring Gulls and 2 Common Loons. The highlight of our day was the appearance of a Red-breasted Nuthatch at our Wilmington feeder. It was first spotted yesterday and we hope it will be a usual winter resident.
Warm Weather Cheers, Larry Gara
