Dear friends,

Not to be outdone, even lowly Paulding County has been the beneficiary of a flight of Sandhill Cranes. During the late morning of our less than highly successful Black Swamp CBC yesterday, we were most fortunate to spy a small squadron of ten Sandhills winging their way south over the windswept plain just southeast of Antwerp, O. Until that moment, we had grown ever more jealous of all of the rest of you who had one or more sightings of these wondrous creatures this fall. Now we too can smile!

Bird long and prosper,
Doug & Micki Dunakin
Antwerp, O.
