A nice day to scout the preserve. Highlights were 20 Wild Turkey crossing the road in front of me,
3 adult Bald Eagles (one of which was very cooperative to my picture taking), one juvenile Bald Eagle,
10 Eastern Bluebirds and 1 male American Kestrel. Loads of Cardinals and the Mourning Doves look
awesome this time of year for some reason.
Upon my return home to Warren the feeders were very active as well. 4 Downy Woodpeckers, 1
White-breasted Nuthatch, 1 Carolina Wren, 1 male House Finch and a Red Shouldered Hawk who is
bent on feeding off the feeders who come to the feeders...lol.... All in all anytime the sun shines in
northeast Ohio this time of year it is a good time to look at the birds...Happy Holidays!!
