Yesterday while birding at Crooked Run NP in Clermont County, east of
Cincinnati, Shane Egleston and I observed a juvenile Golden Eagle
soaring overhead. It was about 3:00 PM when we saw the bird. It was
heading eastward the last we saw it. The Nature Preserve is in the small
burg of Chilo.

There was also a male Red-headed Woodpecker at the rest area on Rte 32
near Sardinia.

We also saw an adult Bald Eagle carrying off a coot at Camp Dennison
(old name). So we had a two eagle day.
