I got a call this morning from John Dodge reporting a Sandhill Crane in with
the Canada Geese in the harbor at Put-in-Bay (South Bass Island.) I found a
lone Sandhill on a mudflat with Geese. We have had three days of low water
with the storm and gale force winds on Lake Erie. I have attached a photo.
What a surprise!
