I have posted photos of the Greater White-fronted Goose reported earlier
today by Larry Gara. Click
here<http://rdp1710.wordpress.com/2009/12/11/greater-white-fronted-goose-at-cowan-lake/>
to
go the the site.

We had a pair of GWFG at Cowan in Feb 03 that stayed around for about a
week. Larry may have had some since then at the Melville gravel pit. By
any standard, it is a rare bird in these parts.

Cheers,

Bob
