Hello Ohio Birders,

It's old news by now to see Sandhill Cranes overhead this weekend, but for the record at 3:30pm today about two dozen flew over my house in Columbus (east of High St. near Whetstone Park). This is noteworthy as it's an addition to my Yard List. (My "Yard" extends upward into airspace as far as the eye can see.)

Also, I had a Red-breasted Nuthatch in a neighbor's Blue Spruce this morning, only the second I've seen this fall. (The bird, not the tree.)

Happy Birding

Dave Horn
Columbus
