An adult Ross' Goose was found today at the Seneca County Jail just
west of the intersection of US 224 and SR 100 on the south side of
Tiffin. The bird was observed with 200+ Canada Geese and a Snow Goose
(blue phase). This is the first Seneca County record. The flock is
in a grassy area and on a small, mostly, frozen pond on the west side
of the jail and south side of US 224. It is best observed from US 224
which is a very busy highway so pull well off the road.
