Birding has been pretty slow in Englewood. This afternoon has provided
more bird action than we've seen in quite some time.
Golden-crowned kinglets
Eastern bluebirds
Red-bellied and downy woodpeckers
Carolina wrens
White-breasted nuthatches
Tufted titmice
Carolina chickadees
American robins
Northern cardinal
Herring gull - imm
Ring-billed gulls - 50+
Black ducks - 2
Mallards - 15
Canada geese - who counts ?
Great blue heron
Red-tailed hawk
And last, but not least, a sure sign of spring--one incredibly small black
ant !
Happy birding,
Ed and Bev Neubauer
Englewood, Ohio
