Steve,

You don't have to go all the way to Florida, though who wouldn't want to! At
Kensington Metropark, on the border of Oakland and Livingston counties in
southeastern Michigan, there have been a couple of very tame Sandhill Cranes
the past few years. One pair has even nested within 10 feet of one of the
boardwalks.
