I passed by Lake White (near Waverly in Pike Co.) this morning. The amount of open water and number of birds have both decreased dramatically in the past few days. Remaining birds are keeping an open patch that can be viewed by the Lake White Club restaurant parking lot. In that group were both a single Snow Goose and Ross's Goose. Excellent scope views can be had there. I passed by there again in the late afternoon and both birds were still present.
